Religious & Cultural Statement
Last updated: 3 June 2026
This project approaches the Vedic and Hindu tradition with sincere respect. It exists to help people learn correct pronunciation and svara, and to honour a living oral heritage — not to reinterpret or appropriate it.
Our intent
- The content is educational and offered in a spirit of devotion and respect.
- It is non-sectarian: we do not promote any single lineage, organisation, or doctrine as the only valid one.
- We make no claim to religious authority. The site is a learning aid, not a guru, not an initiation (dīkṣā), and not a ritual service.
Sources & performance
Mantra texts follow widely available traditional sources. Transcriptions and translations are provided to support study; where a specific source or lineage is relevant, we note it on the page. Recordings are performed carefully to reflect traditional pronunciation and accentuation (svara).
If we have erred
We welcome correction from teachers, scholars, and members of the tradition. If anything here is inaccurate or could be presented more respectfully, please write to [email protected] and we will listen.
